Dr. Kenneth McMartin, Emeritus Professor of Pharmacology, Toxicology & Neuroscience, received the Career Achievement Award from the Clinical and Translational Toxicology Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology.
31 new honorees were inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society on March 2, 2024. This international honor society recognizes those who practice patient-centered care by displaying qualities of excellence, compassion, altruism, respect and empathy.
The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians selected Dr. Ammar Husan, Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in Family Medicine at LSU Health Shreveport, as their Member of the Month for February, 2024.
