The School of Allied Health Professions is comprised of seven academic programs, three post-professional residency programs for physical therapists who hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and three specialized clinics: the Children’s Center which provides developmental and psychological testing and treatment for children, Mollie E. Webb Speech and Hearing Center which offers highly specialized speech and hearing care, and the Rehabilitation Clinic which provides state-of-the-art occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy. 

BS Cardiopulmonary Science
Application Deadline Extended

The BS Cardiopulmonary Science program has extended the application deadline to April 17th. Classes begin on May 18th. Please visit the Student Admissions page for pre-requisite requirements and to apply via AHCAS. 2019 Allied Health Professions Graduation

Sixty-two (62) LSU Health Shreveport School of Allied Health Professions' students graduated from their respective programs with a bachelor's or master's degree. Dr. Roxane A. Townsend, Managing Principle of Health Management Associates, was the Commencement Speaker. LSU Board of Supervisors Chair-Elect Mary L. Werner conferred degrees. Congratulations to each of these graduates on their accomplishments and wish them all the best as they begin their careers!
