Update for Students of the School of Allied Health Professions
March 17, 2020 8:18pm
The School of Allied Health Professions has worked very hard to communicate with our students, but we recognize in the current, fluid environment that there are several messages coming at you in warped speed. For the SAHP students, please disregard the messages intended for the School of Medicine. Anything pertaining to MS I, MS II, MS III, or MS IV do not apply to the students in the SAHP. Each program in the SAHP has individual program accreditations and your faculty are following closely to those guidelines to help you navigate these times and still meet your academic goals. Your communications are coming directly to you from your individual program faculty, program directors, and dean.
- Each program is responsible for developing and delivering their coursework and schedule
- Faculty are here to ensure your education continues in a timely manner and are they are working feverishly through alternative means and web-based platforms to assure you have the tools and resources to complete your program with the required competencies
- Multiple messaging may have created confusion surrounding your schedule, we want to be clear that each program is responsible for scheduling their ongoing coursework; watch for messages from your specific program faculty.
- Finally, this is a stressful time for everyone; if you do not feel you can keep up with your coursework, please reach out to your program director, faculty member of the specific course, or your faculty advisor. They are available to assist you.
If you need, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you!
