Visiting Medical Students

We use the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) portal for our visiting student applications.  Please check VSLO for information on elective rotations. The catalog for 2024-25 is currently available on VSLO for LCME/DO students and Ochsner Clinical School students.

Caribbean students who are interested in Emergency Medicine Residency at LSU Health Shreveport are eligible to apply for our Emergency Medicine Acting Internship. Please email Tonya Frotz, Associate Registrar at registrar@lsuhs.edu for information.  

We are currently not accommodating students from Caribbean and international visiting students.
