Fawaz Alotaibi, DDS
Dr. Alotaibi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport. He is originally from Saudi Arabia. Dr. Alotaibi obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from King Saud University at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2010. Then, he moved to the United States and completed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship and Residency programs at Jackson Memorial Hospital/ University of Miami 2013-2018. Following graduation from residency, he completed two years fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport in 2020. He is certified with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) since March 2020.
Today, Dr. Alotaibi serves as Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport with special interest in Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, facial trauma, Osteoradionecrosis, Medication Related Osteonecrosis of Jaw (MRONJ), Orthognathic surgery, dental implants and dentoalveolar surgery. When not busy with his career, he enjoys watching and playing soccer, spending time with his wife, Joza and their daughters, Joud & Joory.
