Stephanie Currie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1990 and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1992 from West Virginia University.  She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is fully licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Louisiana. She previously held licenses to practice in the states of North Carolina and New Jersey.  She was also certified to practice speech therapy by the Health Professions Council (HPC) and the Royal College of Speech-Language Therapists (RCSLT) in the United Kingdom.

Mrs. Currie has obtained continuing education and training in multiple areas including certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT/LOUD). She has worked in clinics, schools and in private practice with both adult and pediatric populations. Her primary responsibility at the present time includes clinical supervision of graduate students at Mollie E Webb Speech and Hearing Center.
