2021 Graduation
On Friday, May 21, 2021, one hundred ninety-eight LSU Health Shreveport students celebrated the culmination of hundreds of hours of academic accomplishment by graduating with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or Doctorate degree. Many among that graduating class of 2021 call the Shreveport-Bossier area their home. Twelve students received a PhD or Master’s degree from the School of Graduate Studies; 71 students received a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate from the School of Allied Health Professions; and 115 students graduated from the School of Medicine and become Doctors of Medicine.
Graduation for all three of LSU Health Shreveport’s professional schools took place in a combined ceremony held at Shreveport Convention Center located at 400 Caddo Street in Shreveport, Louisiana. Julia Letlow, PhD, US Representative, 5th Congressional District, gave the keynote commencement address.
