Dr. Hugo H. Cuellar photo

Welcome to the LSU Health Shreveport Department of Radiology website. Our department was established on August 20, 1967. Dr. Erich K. Lang of the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis was named as the Head of the Department of Radiology at the Confederate Memorial Medical Center and Chairman of the Department of Radiology at the LSU School of Medicine. From our beginning, the faculty, residents and staff have understood the importance of quality patient care, communication, education, innovation and research. We are a service-oriented and resident-centered academic department.

As you explore our website, I hope you get a sense of the pride and accomplishments of our faculty and residents. Thank you for visiting!

Hugo Cuellar, MD, PhD, MBA, DABR, FAHA
