Molecular & Cellular Physiology and Pharmacology, Toxicology & Neuroscience offer a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science (MS).  

The program consists of primarily lecture courses, seminars, and journal clubs in the first year.  The research project may begin in the first year but the second year is devoted primarily to a research project. In order to graduate, students write and defend a thesis on their research. MS students do not receive financial support for their thesis research but tuition and non-resident fees may be waived, depending on availability of funds.

Cellular Biology and Anatomy offers a Clinical Anatomy track in the MS Program.

This track is designed to fill the critical need for anatomy instructors at medical schools, other professional schools and undergraduate institutions. During the first year of the Program, MS students complete courses in human embryology, histology and anatomy including labs and clinical correlations.  During the second year, students assist with these courses and complete a mentor-guided research project on a cellular, molecular and/or anatomical topic, culminating in a thesis.
