TITLE IX REPORTING

Any student or employee who believes that he or she has experienced power-based violence (e.g., dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, stalking) has a right to report the incident(s) to the Campus Title IX Coordinator or to any other mandatory reporter (responsible employee). All LSU Health Shreveport employees, with the exception of Confidential Advisors (detailed below), are required to report any incident of power-based violence to the Campus Title IX Coordinator. Click on a button below for reporting options.

Retaliation

Retaliation against a person who has been subjected to power-based violence (e.g., dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, stalking), or against one, who in good faith brings a complaint of power-based violence or who, in good faith, participates in the investigation of a power-based violence complaint, is prohibited and shall be a violation of this policy and shall constitute misconduct subject to disciplinary or other action, as described in PM-73.

A person may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights regarding an alleged violation of Title IX online (https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/complaintintro.html) or by contacting the Dallas Office via email (OCR.Dallas@ed.gov) or telephone (214-661-9600).
