Summer Undergraduate Pharmacology Experience in Research (SUPER)

The Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Neuroscience offers an eight-week summer research program for domestic undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in pharmacology. Students participate in laboratory research experiments and attend weekly lectures on topics that will help prepare them for success in research-intensive doctoral programs. The SUPER Program is funded by the ASPET/SURF, Society of Toxicology, LSU Health Shreveport Foundation and the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Neuroscience.

To Apply:

Students must submit an application, unofficial college transcript, and a brief personal statement of why you would like to participate in this internship program. Students must also ensure that one letter of recommendation is submitted. All letters of recommendation must be either emailed or mailed directly from the author. All applicants must be citizens or Permanent Residents of the United States. All application materials should be attached to the application form.
