Dr. Emily Adams was accepted for a Quickshot Presentation at the 17th Annual Academic Surgical Congress Conference for her abstract titled “Recidivism in Trauma: Determining Risk Factors for Recidivism at a Level 1 Trauma Center.”
Dr. Aryeneesh Dotiwala was accepted for a Quickshot Presentation at the 17th Annual Academic Surgical Congress Conference for her abstract titled “The Lockdown Paradigm: Investigating the Shifting Face of Trauma During the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
The Department of Surgery appoints two senior residents as administrative chiefs for the academic year who accepts responsibilities beyond those normally included in the resident’s academic program. This position is one of professionalism, leadership, and distinction serving as an example for co-residents.

Dr. Christopher Foster is an exemplary representation of our General Surgery department. During his time at our institution, he has consistently performed in the operating room, as well as, in the management of our diverse and complicated surgery and trauma patients.
