Scholarly Opportunities

Residents choose an Individual Scholarly Plan (ISP) based on their interests.

  • Research Track - for residents interested in research. Residents on this track participate in research opportunities whether they be Faculty projects, or the resident can begin a project on their own.
  • Educator Track - for residents interested in Academics. Residents on this track develop educational materials, provide lectures, and develop small group activities.
  • Scholar Track - for residents interested in writing and publishing. Residents may work with Faculty and other residents to write publications, book chapters, case reports, etc.

The Department holds monthly Research meetings to discuss ongoing research activities and projects which all trainees are encouraged to attend.
