KTAL - Frampton Gwynette, MD, Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at LSU Health Shreveport says warning signs can include isolating yourself, engaging in self-injurious behavior, or losing interest in activities you once enjoyed.

KTBS - LSU Health Shreveport Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Dr. Pamela McPherson says some anxiety about returning to school is normal. In fact, she says more than 75% of high school students and about 50% of middle school students report feeling anxious about going back to school.
