RESIDENT RESEARCH | Pediatric Residency

The LSUHS Pediatric Residency program hosts an annual research poster presentation for their residents. This is an opportunity for residents, who have worked with mentors on a research project, to showcase their research study done that academic year. 

The winners of the 2024 posters were presented on May 30, 2024.

1^st place was Rajan Chamlagain PGY-1 for "Serum Tarc/CCL17 Level to Diagnose Atopic Dermatitis" 

2^nd place was Archana Bottu PGY-2 for "Comparing outcomes and safety of ceftraline versus vancomycin for the treatment of osteomyelitis and septic arthritis in pediatric patients" (Mentor- Dr. Patricia Pichilingue-Reto)

3^rd place was Sophia Hernandez PGY-2 for "Parry Romberg Syndrome: An Uncommon and Disfiguring Entity" (Mentor- Dr. Sarwat Umer.
