The OMFS clinic at this facility was opened in September 2015. Residents and a dedicated attending travel to the medical center in Monroe, LA every Monday to staff the 4-treatment room OMFS clinic and treat patients in the fully equipped OR. Similar to Rapides, the remote location greatly increases the residency's patient pool and the more rural location allows the residents more autonomy and exposure to rare pathology.
