June 22, 2024 we held our 35th Annual Meeting of LSU Health Shreveport Ophthalmology Residents & Alumni at the Petroleum Club in downtown Shreveport titled "Advances in Ocular Oncology." The guest lecture was given by Brian K. Firestone, MD, of the Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma Health Center, on the topic of "Approach to Ocular Tumors." 

In June, 2019 we held our 30th Annual Meeting of LSU Health Shreveport Ophthalmology Residents & Alumni at the Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club titled "Management of Retinal Detachments and Large Retinal Holes." The guest lecture was given by Steve Charles, MD, FACS, FICS of the Charles Retina Institute on the topic of "Retinal Detachment from Straightforward to PVR."  View the entire Program
