Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana, where we stand as pioneers and advocates in the relentless pursuit of excellence in women's healthcare. As the Chair of this great department, I am privileged to convey our unwavering commitment to our vision, mission, and dedication to world-class patient care.

Our vision serves as the guide and monitor of our endeavors. We aspire to lead the way in women's healthcare, setting new standards and advocating for the interests of the patients we serve. By choosing to be a part of our community, you join us in this quest to elevate women's healthcare outcomes and experiences, ensuring they receive the best care possible. We offer services on three main campuses, Saint Mary’s Medical Center and the Academic Medical Center, both in Shreveport, and the Monroe Medical Center in Monroe. We are proud to offer a comprehensive spectrum of services, ranging from the highest acuity level care possible (level IV) for General Obstetrics and Gynecology patients, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine for high-risk pregnancies, to cutting-edge Minimally Invasive Surgery for complex robotic and laparoscopic gynecologic procedures. Our commitment extends to Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery (URPS) for prolapse, incontinence management, as well as transvaginal laparoscopy (vNOTES). Furthermore, we optimize and coordinate care for those needing Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecologic Oncology services.
