EDUCATION | Neurology Residency

We emphasize clinical and academic excellence in our neurology teaching curriculum. We have 100% participation from our dedicated neurology faculty in didactic lectures, journal club discussions, various conferences, symposia, grand rounds, and in the outpatient and inpatient services. Each resident is assigned a mentor to help foster individual growth. Care is taken to build the basic foundation of neurologic clinical and basic science and to add relevant subspecialty courses and electives. Up to date research opportunities are available, and all residents are encouraged to publish and/or present case reports, reviews or other academic manuscripts. The art of medicine and the business of medical practice are equally engaged in the educational experience. Upon graduation, our residents are fully competent and prepared for further academics or private practice.

There is a one-to-one faculty to resident ratio, and we adhere to an "open-door" policy of accessibility.
