INTERNAL MEDICINE RESEARCH DAY

Internal Medicine Research Day is an opportunity for our internal medicine residents to come together with medical students and fellows on our campus to showcase their research, including case reports, case studies and clinical trials. The research represents a variety of specialties within the field of internal medicine. The day includes a keynote presentation by a visiting guest speaker, along with oral presentations and concludes with poster presentations. Many of the presentations will also be included in national and regional conferences. Research plays a significant role in the training programs at LSU Health Shreveport and in the improvement of healthcare.
