BIOINFORMATICS & MODELING CORE | CAIPP

The CAIPP Bioinformatics and Modeling Core at LSU Health Shreveport is an NIH-funded resource within the Center for Applied Immunology and Pathological Processes (CAIPP) that provides advanced computational support for biomedical research. The Core specializes in bioinformatics, multi-omics data analysis, network modeling, pathway analysis, and data science, helping investigators transform complex biological datasets into meaningful scientific insights. Supported projects include RNA-seq, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, microbiome studies, proteomics, metabolomics, multi-omics integration, pathway enrichment analysis, network modeling, and custom data science workflows. Through collaborative research support, customized analytical pipelines, and educational opportunities, the Core advances discovery in immunology, infectious diseases, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and related biomedical fields. The Core operates as a fee-for-service facility and is available to all researchers at LSU Health Shreveport; services for external investigators are available through prior contractual agreements.
Please contact Rona Scott, PhD at rona.scott@lsuhs.edu to inquire about available services and project support.
