The Clery Act also requires colleges and universities to keep a daily crime log. The purpose of this log is to provide criminal or alleged criminal activity that is reported to LSU Health Shreveport University Police Department. Crime log case report numbers do not run sequentially. LSU Health Shreveport University Police Department assigns a case report number for all reportable activities, both criminal and non-criminal. Only case numbers generated for criminal activity are listed in the crime log and are listed in order by date and time reported. The crime log includes Case #, Date/Time Reported, Location, Occurrence Date/Time, Incident Type (Classifications may change as a result of further review), and Disposition. Crimes must be entered into the crime log within two (2) business days after the crime has been reported to LSU Health Shreveport University Police Department. The logs below are posted monthly, not daily. If you would like to view the current crime log please come to LSU Health Shreveport - Administration Building, Room 1-129, during the hours of 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday. Students, employees, parents and the general public may access it.
Requests for copies of the crime log extending beyond 60 calendar days may be submitted by email to angela.jackson@lsuhs.edu, in person during normal business hours at the LSU Health Shreveport - Administration Building, Room 1-129, or contact Angela Jackson at (318) 675-6162. LSU Health Shreveport University Police Department will provide copies of the requested extended crime log within two (2) business days.
Note: The crime log will not normally match the crime statistics reported in the Annual Security Report, as the crime log entries include all crimes, not just Clery Act crimes, reported to LSU Health Shreveport University Police.
