This week in the studio ...
Mack McCoy’s life was built on strength. An army veteran, firefighter, and competitive weightlifter. But after a cardiac procedure led to a stroke, everything changed. Unable to walk and facing an uncertain future, Mack began a long rehabilitation journey that eventually led him to LSU Health Shreveport’s Rehabilitation Faculty Clinic.
Guided by Dr. Matthew Martin and the neuro rehab team, Mack spent nearly two years rebuilding his strength and mobility.
Today, Mack shares his story of resilience. From the moment he thought his life as he knew it was over… To walking, running, and ultimately stepping onto one of the biggest stages in strength sports: the Arnold Weightlifting Classic. And he didn’t just compete. He won his class.
