Ashton works in the lab of Dr. Hugh Nam in the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology, & Neuroscience. Her dissertation is titled, “The Effects of Neurogranin on Atherosclerosis”. Her research focuses on dissecting the role of neurogranin signaling during endothelial activation. In the long term, her studies may reveal novel pharmacological targets for the treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis. Learn more about Ashton's Research in the Nam Lab.
