Congratulations to Gaganpreet Kaur, Graduate Assistant in the Harris Lab! Ms. Kaur has been selected by the Microcirculatory Society (MCS) as a recipient of one of the Zweifach Student Travel Awards to the MCS Annual Meeting at the Experimental Biology 2022 Meeting. The meeting will take place April 2-5 in Philadelphia, PA. This award consists of $500 which will be awarded after the Annual MCS President’s Poster Reception. In addition to receiving the award, Ms. Kaur has also been invited to give an additional presentation at the reception.
Experimental Biology (EB) is the annual meeting of five societies that explores the latest research in anatomy, biochemistry and molecular biology, investigative pathology, pharmacology, and physiology. Participants represent scientists from academic institutions, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and industry.
The societies represented include the American Physiology Society (APS), the American Association for Anatomy (AAA), the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBM), the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET), as well as the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP).The meeting features plenary lectures, workshops, symposia, posters presentations, on-site career services and exhibits spotlighting products and services integral to this professional community.
