A new CDC report finds that U.S. adults reported experiencing increased anxiety and depression symptoms during August through December 2020 as new COVID-19 cases increased. Depression and anxiety symptoms decreased during the following months, at the same time that COVID-19 cases decreased, but remained higher than in 2019, the report finds.
