The Center of Excellence for Cardiovascular Diseases and Sciences held their inaugural Feist Cardiovascular Research Symposium on Monday, February 7, 2022. There were talks from many of their researchers and fellows as well as two external guest speakers.

Dr. Rakesh Patel (University of Alabama at Birmingham) spoke during the morning session and his talk was on "Redox-Dependent Regulation of Endothelial High Mannose N-Glycans: Implications for Vascular Inflammation." Dr. Elena Aikawa (Harvard Medical School), Malcolm Feist Lecturer, spoke during the afternoon session and her talk was "Cardiovascular Calcification: Searching for New Targets Through Systems Biology and Computational Prediction."
