33rd Annual Ophthalmology Residents & Alumni Conference

The purpose of the LSU Ophthalmology “Resident and Alumni Conference” is to provide high quality lifelong learning opportunities that promote positive change in physician performance or competence, thus enabling such physicians to maintain or improve the knowledge, skills, and professional performance. The current activity will provide area ophthalmologists, LSU Health Shreveport faculty, alumni, and residents with the latest information regarding recent advances made in the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in long term glaucoma management. This will result in improved physician competency, better treatment outcomes and greater patient satisfaction.  In addition, attendees will learn about the results of the residents’ clinical and basic science research projects.
