KTAL - An Evening for Healers is an LSU Health Shreveport fundraiser hosted by the LSU Health Foundation. This year, it was held at the Shreveport Convention Center and featured the stories of two patients who were treated and recovered.

KTBS - For over 13 years "Healers" has shared patients stories of recovery and recognized over 930 health care workers. Donations to the fundraiser go toward supporting students at the Schools of Medicine, Allied Health Professions and Graduate Studies.
