With great anticipation, I share the names of the search committee tasked with finding your next leader. We scheduled a kickoff meeting for Friday, April 5. This critically important process requires a compelling vision for the future of LSU Health Shreveport and the Shreveport-Bossier area, and while we are looking forward to securing a permanent leader, it is imperative that we take the time required to find the right individual to lead our campus and serve as a community pillar. I thank you all for the feedback and input shared during my visits and afterward. We stand on the precipice of new accomplishments and opportunities to leverage your expertise into tangible benefits for the people of North Louisiana.

LSUS Chancellor Larry Clark will chair the committee, and I thank him for his service and his leadership. Under his guidance the group will move expediently and with the utmost of purpose, ensuring that together, the committee identifies the best candidates from around the world to lead our campus, building upon your existing strengths while also making strides in bold new directions.
